M. Ann Lynch was born in Cincinnati, Ohio where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University ofCincinnati, School of Design, Art & Architecture in 1972. Her Focus center on graphic design and her work continues to reflect the early influence, most noticeably by her strong use of color and space. After graduation she continued to expand as an artist by attending the New York Art Students League, NY as well as studying under artists such as; Jeanne Dobie, Millard Wells, Frederic Wong, Tony Couch, Albert Handel, Carl Dalio, Don Andrews, Gerald Brommer, William B. Lawrence and Carlton Plummer. She has been in Who's Who of American Woman.
M. Ann Lynch moved to the Floridas Keys in 1984. Living amongst the native Vegetation has brightened her palette considerably, by infusing her paintings with a rich, vibrant flavor and texture. She is particularly attracted to the high contrast of light when reflected in many scenes. The natural beauty of the Keys has become a recurring subject for her stunning watercolors.
